Our Organization
The Lacey Jarrell Foundation is a 501 3C non-profit organization developed in memory of Lacey Jane Daly Jarrell. Lacey tragically died in a rollover automobile accident one summer morning on a curvy road in Tucson, Arizona. She was 16 years old. Her favorite color was green and she loved to draw green stars. Thus, we also use the name Green Star Art. We honor Lacey and her attributes, passions, and life goals, which in short involved creativity through artistic expression and an unusual ability to help others and remain non-judgmental and selfless.
As Green Star Art we support student artists ages 13 -21 through provision of gallery venues where students can present their art, art mentors, educational scholarships, life coaching and more. We have provided many students scholarships for tuition and supplies regardless of what major a student selects.
We are devoted to the enhancement and promotion of ethical, social, intellectual, and emotional development and healing for youth through the promotion of education and creative experiences for young artists.
